Carol Reeves, 64, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away Monday, October 10, 2011 of lung disease. She was born January 20, 1947 in Hemel Hempstead, England, and then moved with her parents, William Conaway and June Egan, to the United States as a small child. She graduated from Shawnee Mission West in 1965. After working in banking for many years, she ran her own estate sale company. She was very dedicated to the Daughters of the British Empire holding both local and national offices. Carol is survived by husband Gary Reeves, mother June Egan, daughter Jennifer Butner Beuscher, grandchildren Devon and Riley Beuscher, aunt Jean Stephens, sister Kristi Blanck, nieces Glynnis and Gracie Zieman and Claire Blanck, sister Misti Jones, niece Calli and nephews Kyle and Danny Jones. She is also survived by stepdaughter Angie O'Connor and four stepgrandchildren, many other close family members and dear friends.
