Kenneth M. Blase, 63, went to rest in the loving arms of our Lord, Jesus, on Monday, December 28, 2009.
Ken retired from a career in the US Army, worked as a pilot for Mesa Airlines, and most recently for the Escambia County Public School District. 
He is survived by his mother, Faye Blase, of Leawood, KS; his brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Michelle Blase, of Stilwell, KS; and his sister and brother-in-law, Joy and Ron Hoffman, of Kansas City, MO. 
Ken requested his cremains be scattered in the ocean, where he loved to walk the beach, swim, sail, kayak, and fish.
