Valorie Smith was born to Howard and Marjorie Smith on April 18, 1947 in Salt Lake City, Utah; the youngest of two children. She moved to Kansas City as a young girl where she grew up and ultimately married. She moved back to the Holladay neighborhood of Salt Lake with her mother in 1986 where they lived and loved together and developed many long lasting relationships in the Hidden Lake community. Valorie Lynn Smith left us on Friday March 22 peacefully at the University of Utah Hospital. Valorie was known for her passion of art, animals and nature. Her love of everything living and her innocent approach to life was reflected in the many custom art works that produced for friends, family care givers and even strangers. She is survived by her two children Michael and Christopher. .
