Herbert Lawrence Smith was born at Pittsfield, Mass., Feb. 15, 1947. He graduated from KU in 1974 - BA - Special Majors. He was member of Phi Kappa Tau fraternity. He died on 2/1976. He is buried in Crown Hill Cemetery. Sedalia, Missouri. His mother, Dorothy B. Qough, is buried next to him.

Larry was from Lenexa, where his mom was my sixth grade teacher. Lost track of him after graduation, but do know that there were questions unanswered about his death. Don't know if they were ever resolved.
