"Eddy" was one of the Lenexa kids so we all spent a lot of time together and, especially through junior high when we were getting redistricted from one school to the next, were a close group. He was a good and gentle soul. Unfortunately, Vietnam had a terrible impact on him and he stayed around home all the years after his return. Fortunately, he was there to take good care of his mom in her last days.
How can I ever forget Ed! He was always up to something. Riding the bus with him was an adventure, as he would grab my lunch, or purse, and empty the contents. Always a laugh and a smile.
